I have Bachelor degree in Molecular Biology from Sofia University and Master degree in Biology, in field of Molecular Genetics, from the Faculty of Biology and Soil Science in Saint Petersburg, Russia. My research interests are focused on translational medicine in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) patients with primary glomerulonephritis (GN), diabetic nephropathy and kidney transplant patients and their progression towards end stage kidney disease. As part of the iMODE – CKD project, my current work includes clinical database management, integrating clinical and molecular datasets and assessment of different ‘omics biomarkers reported from the iMODE-CKD partners in the context of the clinical evaluation of patients with primary GN and CKD 1-4 .
